Enjoyed lunch in this lovely little spot today, spacious seating area with lots of delicious options for a meal or just a treat. The cakes all looked great, and my sandwich was delicious - with locally sourced ingredients. A hidden gem!

We are on holiday and came across the spoon and cake. Amazing freshly prepared food, full of flavour and locally sourced produce. ALL staff were amazing and attentive, and reasonably priced. Will def be coming back.

Stopped at Lodden in our hire boat to pick up some lunch, found this little gem. Amazing home cooked goods. Amazing cakes hard to choose what to have. Bought sausage roll, quiche , Eton mess cake and lemon and white chocolate blondie , all delicious.

I recently hosted my baby shower at Spooncake and it was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, being especially attentive to allergies and dietary preferences, which made everyone feel at ease. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and their attention to detail was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options that pleased all the guests. Absolutely delicious cake made for our wedding. The team were even able to accommodate a set of dairy, egg and nut free cupcakes to compliment our main cake. Thank you!!

Spooncake is a a gluten free,dairy free paradise. I have rarely seen so much choice on the menu and actually don’t know what to have. I plumped for the gf/ dairy free tuna and sweetcorn mayonnaise sandwich and was not disappointed. Good quality ingredients, superb gf bread and super tasty.
Daughter ordered the scone with cream cheese and pickle ( not gf but I believe they had gf and dairy free available), she said it was really good.
Dairy free alternative milks available , I had oat milk with my super smooth americano.
Food quickly prepared but very well presented forgot to take photos.
When in the area will definitely be back. They do take away too and had so many delights to choose from gf and dairy free savoury and sweet. Very reasonable prices too.
We parked in the Church plain car park , Machine took a few minutes to work out but you get 2 hours free parking.Locals were very helpful with this and friendly . The cafe is only a short stroll away , but it’s not far from the Staithe car park or marina either if visiting by boat. Loddon also has buses from Beccles or Norwich very regularly too.- Service

- Gluten free and dairy free heaven as well as vegan and vegetarian options. Staff were so lovely that if you needed a minor change to the menu I’m sure it would not be a problem at all. They understand gf and df .

Too many amazing baked ideas to pick just one. The latte was lovely and the Victoria sponge was amazing - huge. The prices are reasonable considering the quality. A beautiful selection including gluten free and vegan. The staff are lovely and the eating area is cosy and welcoming. Toilet on site too - bonus plus 2 hours free car parking nearby. No photo - sorry - too nice to wait to eat it.

Spooncake made our wedding cupcakes for our big day and they were amazing! Everyone loved them. They also catered for our guests with dietary requirements. If you haven't eaten in the cafe you should as the food is incredible! Thank you!!!

Great cafe with a really positive vibe. A good range of vegetarian foods and a good balance of other options. Cake selections are amazing and you can watch them being created in the kitchen. The cafe offers good value for money and parking is free for two hours in the local car park.There are also good walks in the area so you can work off the cakes.
The best cafe experience I have had, I took my mum here for a birthday lunch. I thought the layout , the furniture and the way the staff worked with eachother to provide the service was excellent. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

The takeaway lunch from Spoon Cake never disappoints. They go above and beyond with service and the variety of items available is brilliant. They also have a great selection of gluten-free cakes and savouries.

Lovely little place for a relaxing drink and bite to eat. Delicious food baked daily with a great variety of different flavours used. Always something new and a bit different to try. Gorgeous milkshakes in various flavours. A little expensive but worth it for the great tastes on offer. They also sell bits and bobs for craft making hobbies.
